The accommodation is housed in main buildings. The lodge is conveniently located by the bike trail which leads to the rim trail. Finally, a place with speciality coffee....so I thought.
We can barely send any messages with the limited bandwidth and WiFi restrictions there without getting out of the room. Clean, well situated, amenity laden. The rooms are very comfortable with the basics of a fridge, coffee maker and TV. You have to pick that as your choice and pay a bit more.Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Yavapai Lodge has their main check-in with a cafeteria and marketplace all connected in one area. Location of the buildings in quiet woodsy area surrounded by pine trees. Very reasonably priced. They just ignored everybody and did their own thing. The West Lodge has none.
A number of pet-friendly rooms are available in Yavapai West, and there is an additional $25 pet fee per day. We were even more excited when it came with refrigerator and coffee maker (seriously, I was picturing girl/Boy Scout camp type stuff).

Hospitality comes first at Yavapai Lodge, which is family-friendly, bike-friendly and pet-friendly. There is also a grocery store where the lodge is which is nice to get something to eat at a cheaper price. We usually get the two queen beds so we can spread out. We are actually in the process of remodeling our rooms right now, this will include new signage and lit signs to find your way better at night. Great location but no view of Canyon. No microwave. Please keep your distance from these beautiful animals, as with all wild animals, they can be dangerous.Our room was very nice & centrally located which allowed us to get to everything we wanted to get to in a short amount of time!
It was a short walk to it. The check in was a breeze, got our keys and went to the room.

Large, clean rooms, very quiet, and friendly staff at check-in. There's little to no data in the area too, so you feel very disconnected and it's hard to look up things, get directions, etc.We stayed here during our time in Grand Canyon. Definitley worth the price & was right next to the more expensive rooms that were actually in the Village & it made no difference that we stayed here instead of In the Village. Since this is located just a short walk from the rim, we always get up early to see the sunrise. The location is also very good; and the night sky (from the parking lot) was spectacular. The room does have a small fridge which worked well for us, but no microwave.
