There were plenty of options to choose from, but most of the lower cost options were 20-30 minutes away from my dad, which was a no go. Would stay here again.So glad I chose this hotel. Gross. Yes, pets are typically allowed, but it's always best to call ahead to confirm. My daughter and I were there to see our grandchild ( my great grand child) for the first time and his first birthday party. Save a few bucks. It was clean and the right temperature. Yes it's a bit far from downtown but that's what public transportation is for, better than the $250 we would have paid in the city. Less expensive, but literally about 5 minutes driving from downtown. We put the AC on full blast to minimize the oder. Other than that, it was your basic Comfort Inn. Hotel is very close to Heinz Field and very easy to get there and back. The beds were comfortable.
How ever on this stop it was anything but that. Less than 10 miles from downtown Pittsburgh. And on top of that, I found bed bugs!
Room was small, but the place was clean and staff was very friendly (especially Jasmine the breakfast girl). I've stayed both here and the Hampton and this place is just as nice.WILL NOT REFUND YOU. Look - bed bugs are serious business and in my 30+ years of traveling this has never happened to me. The staff was friendly and helpful upon arrival. My advice is to train your people. When I ask for a upgrade room I got a run around. We loved being right down the street from a pramenti brothers and they are open late night.
